Birth and Rebirth

In Buddhism, it is believed that all beings undergo ‘samsara,’ the cycle of death and rebirth, repeatedly, and thus endless sufferings.
There are 6 realms of reincarnation: gods(devas) realm, human realm, demi-god (asura) realm, animal realm, hungry ghost realm and hell realm. 'Suffering of Beings' and 'Reincarnation' delve into the human, the asura and the animal realms.

Cows represent the toil of life: some cows work lifelong hard labor, while others are butchered into beef to be consumed by other species(human). Without a choice, cows devote their lives and deaths.
But as human there is anger. Asura is the stage of being before deva(god). It is the being that could yet rid of anger and possess a troubled mind. It represents agony, aggression, revolt and obsession; it is a state of being struggling to break the cycle, but, at the same time, caught and blind by the very act.
